Do sooner than later:
1) RSVP
2) Book flights
3) Check your Passport expiration
Do in July/August:
4) Visa (e-visa for US Citizens - processing time currently is under a week)
5) Book hotel
6) Book car transportation from airport to hotel
São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is biggest, located ~40 miles away. It is the biggest international airport and has the most flight options, most attendees will into this airport.
Viracopos International Airport (VCP) is closest, ~22 miles from Itu. Booking a private car in advance is likely an easier option as this is a smaller airport with fewer taxis/ubers.
Congonhas Airport (CGH) is ~43 miles from Itu. It primarily serves domestic flights, making it a good option if you are flying from another Brazilian city.

Option 3: Car rental (good for those spending time in Sao Paulo)
We recommend Option 1 because it is simpler and most reliable regardless of your airport choice.
GRU Airport to Itu: 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.
VCP Airport to Itu: 30 to 45 minutes.
CGH Airport to Itu: 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
It's unlikely for the hotel to be booked up so booking towards July/August is totally fine. There are also several other hotels in the area.
Novotel Hotel Sorocaba: We will arrange shuttles to/from the pre-wedding rehearsal dinner and the wedding ceremony from/to this hotel.
We will provide shuttle service between the hotel and the venue for both the pre-wedding and wedding events. Additionally, Uber will be available for those who prefer to travel to the venue on their own schedule.
Likely Yes. Please check your visa requirements.
U.S. citizens will need to apply for a visa.

We recommend arriving by Friday morning to attend the Pre-Wedding event on Friday Evening. We will be hanging out at the venue during the day. Given the duration of flight from the U.S., some travelers may want to arrive on Thursday. You can spend the night in São Paulo and enjoy the world-class restaurants and bars.
We recommend Sunday, 08/31/25, after 5 PM. This will give you time to relax and enjoy the post-wedding celebrations. We want our guests to enjoy Brazil, so please consider extending your stay to explore the country. Check out the "Things to Do" section for some recommendations!
